In this article, we’ll show you how to sell crypto at a Bitcoin Change ATM.
What do you need?
· Registration as a customerin the Bitcoin Change network
· Crypto, one of three types:Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) on the Ethereum network (ERC20), or Bitcoin Cash(BCH). The crypto must be on a private wallet (like Exodus),and not in an exchange account (like Binance). For help installing a wallet and transferring coins to a private wallet, speakto the store staff.
· The mobile device with thewallet app that holds your crypto.

Transferring the Coins to a Private Wallet
If your crypto is held on an exchange, you must transfer it from the exchange to your private wallet. If you don’t have a private wallet yet, you’ll need to open one. You can only proceed to the next step once the crypto is in your private wallet. Opening the wallet and transferring the coins can be done at home on your own or at the branch with assistance from our staff. This process takes at least 10 minutes and usually more. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the branch only after you’ve already completed the transfer – but as mentioned, we’ll be happy to assist you if you’d like.

Coins are in your private wallet and you're already registered? Let’s begin the sale:
Identify yourself to the service representative. Provide your ID number to the representative sothey can locate your customer file in the system. If you are registered andauthorized to sell, the representative will offer you assistance and invite youto begin the sale. Use of the ATM is permitted only with the representative's approval.
Proceed to the ATM. The sale process, including the fee payment, is completed entirely via the ATM. We recommend getting assistance from our staffat this stage.
Choose the crypto currency you want to sell. The default setting on the ATM is Bitcoin. Ifyou’re selling Bitcoin, you can move to the next step. If you’re selling Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash, simply tap the desired coin in the lower corner.
Tap the red Sell Bitcoin button.
If you agree to the Terms of Use, tap Accept. You can find the Terms of Use on our website or at our branch in a printed booklet: https://www.bitcoinchange.co.il/terms
Enter the phone number you registered with, thentap the Submit button in the bottom right corner. No need to enter the +972 prefix. Your phone must be able to receive SMS messages. If you’re unable to receive SMS, ask a service representative for help.
Wait a few seconds to receive an SMS code. If you haven’t received the code within a minute, you likely mistyped your phone number. Tap the X in the top-rightcorner and start the process again. This time, make sure your number is entered correctly before tapping Submit.
Enter the 6-digit code, then tap Submit.
Choose the amount in shekels you want to withdraw. At this stage, it’s especially recommended to get help from arepresentative. Each tap on one of the 100 / 200 / 400 buttons adds that amount to the withdrawal total. The crypto amount will appear beneath the buttons – make sure you have enough crypto to complete the sale, including the fee. The crypto amount is displayed in mBTC and mETHunits, which are thousandths of the coin. 1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC. For example, if the amount is 13.5 mBTC, you’ll need to have at least0.0135 BTC in your wallet.
Once you’ve selected the amount, tap the Cash Out button.
Scan the address on the screen. A QR code will now appear on the ATM screen.In your wallet, select Send, then tap the scan button.
Check that the amount you are sending matches the requested amount. Usually, your wallet will fill in the amount automatically. But make sure it hasn’t been rounded up or down. If the amountdoesn’t appear, enter it manually. The machine will not dispense cash for an incorrect crypto amount.We recommend verifying the amount with a service representative.
Send the coins. As soon as the exact amount of crypto is sent tothe ATM address, a Thank You screen will appear indicatingthat the transaction has been received on the blockchain.For amounts up to ₪1,000,there's no need to wait — the cash will be dispensed immediately .For amounts above ₪1,000, you’ll need to wait for an SMS after the blockchain confirmation.
Wait for an SMS notification. Shortly after the transaction is confirmed onthe blockchain, you’ll receive a message saying "Your cash iswaiting."You are not required to stay in the store or near the ATM while waiting forconfirmation.
Once you’ve received the SMS, tap Redeemon the ATM.
Enter your phone number to receive a code via SMS.
Enter the SMS code you received.
The ATM will dispense your cash.
Open your phone camera and photograph the ATMscreen – it will display the transaction details.
Count the cash before leaving the store.If the amount is incorrect, contact the service representative immediately.
You’re done! You’ll receive a receipt from us by email shortly.
