Introduction
Buying crypto might sound complicated – and rightfully so. It's a newtechnology, with unfamiliar concepts and many possibilities. This guide is hereto make things clear and show how to buy crypto simply, step by step.
At Bitcoin Change, anyone can buy crypto easily. We operate dedicated ATMs(cryptomats) that allow conversion of cash into digital currencies. Our team isavailable to help, even for those who don’t feel particularly tech-savvy.
What to Prepare
· A mobile phone or computerwith a digital wallet app installed (you can also open a wallet together with arepresentative at the branch)
· Registration as a BitcoinChange customer
· Cash (NIS only)
Registering as a New Customer
If this is your first time, you will be required to register as a customer.It’s a short process that includes:
· Two valid forms of ID (e.g.Israeli ID + driver’s license/passport)
· Filling out a shortquestionnaire with a representative
Opening a Wallet
You can open a digital wallet on your own or with the help of arepresentative at the branch. It’s a simple process that includes:
· Downloading a wallet app
· Writing down a physicalbackup of the security words

How to Buy Crypto at the ATM
You have a wallet and you're already registered? You can start buying:
Identify yourself to the service representative. Give them your ID number so they can find yourcustomer card in the system. If you're registered and authorized to make a purchase, the representative will offer their assistance and invite you tobegin the purchase. Use of the ATM is permitted only with the representative’s approval.
Make sure you have a QR address of your own cryptowallet ready and open on your mobile phone.
Approach the ATM. The buying process, including the commissionpayment, is completed entirely through the ATM. Our service representativeswill be happy to help you if you wish, but it's not required. You can completethe ATM process on your own.
Choose the currency you wish to buy. The ATM's default is Bitcoin – if you're buyingBitcoin, you can move to the next step. If you want Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash,simply press the desired coin in the lower corner.
Press the blue “Buy Bitcoin” button.
If you agree to the Terms of Use, press Accept. You can find the Terms of Use on our website orat our branch in a printed booklet. https://www.bitcoinchange.co.il/terms
Enter the phone number you registered with, and then press the Submit button in the lower right corner. No need for +972 prefix. The phone number must be able to receive SMS. Ifyou can't receive an SMS, ask a service representative for help.
Wait a few seconds to receive a code via SMS. If after a minute you still haven't received thecode, you likely entered the phone number incorrectly. Press the X in the upperright corner and start the process again. This time, make sure the number iscorrect before pressing Submit.
Enter the 6-digit code, then press Submit.
Open the QR address on your mobile device.Hold your phone up to the smart reader on the ATM, with the screen facing the ATM so it can scan the QRcode. Hold it there for a few seconds until the address is detected. You'llknow it's detected when the ATM screen changes and displays "Insert abill".If you wait more than about a minute before doing this, the ATM will assume youcanceled and return to the home screen.To improve the process, increase your screen brightness and enlarge the barcodeas much as possible. It's recommended to verify that the address shown on theATM matches the address displayed on your phone.
Hold your phone up to the smart reader on the ATM, with the screen facing the ATM so it can scan the QR code. Hold it there for a few seconds until the address is detected. You'll know it's detected when the ATM screen changes and displays "Insert a bill". If you wait more than about a minute before doing this, the ATM will assume you canceled and return to the home screen. To improve the process, increase your screen brightness and enlarge the bar code as much as possible. It's recommended to verify that the address shown on the ATM matches the address displayed on your phone.
Insert the cash into the ATM. At this stage, the current Bitcoin rate in shekels will appear at the top left of the screen. This rate is based on the current Kraken exchange rate in shekels plus a 6% fee. This way, you always know the exact purchase rate at the time of the transaction. Insert one bill at a time. Make sure not to exceed your limit – ₪10,000, ₪5,000, or your remaining weekly/monthly limit. The conversion fee is taken from the amount you insert into the ATM – no need to reserve cash for the fee. For example, if you insert ₪1,000, ₪60 of it (6%) will be taken as the fee, and the remaining ₪940 will be sent to you as crypto.
After finishing inserting the cash, press the blue "Send Coins" button.
Open your phone camera and take a photo of the ATM screen –the transaction details are displayed there.
The crypto is already on its way to you, and soon you’ll receive a receipt by email.
